The Research of Caoimhe Bolger, MSc (Clinical Pharmacy) Student, is Presented at the Prescribing and Research in Medicines Management Conference 2025
Research conducted by School of Pharmacy MSc (Clinical Pharmacy) student Caoimhe Bolger was presented at the Prescribing and Research in Medicines Management (PRIMM) Conference 2025, held on 12 December 2025 in Manchester, UK.
Caoimhe’s poster, titled "An Audit of the Implementation of an Oral Anti-Cancer Medicines Prescription Validation Tool for Use by Haematology/Oncology Pharmacists in St. Vincents University Hospital” examines the outcome of the development of a prescription verification tool. The tool identified issues in the majority of prescriptions with the most common issues being incorrect dose selection and incorrect dispening.
Caoimhe’s project was undertaken as part of her funded by a Masters in Clinical Pharmacy and was supervised by Dr Kevin Murphy from the School of Pharmacy (pictured).
