PharmSoc’s Pharmacy Ball Delivers an Unforgettable 'Night at the OSCEs'

The annual Pharmacy Ball took place in the Rochestown Park Hotel on Friday, 21st February. With the theme 'A Night at the OSCEs,' students swapped their lab coats for elegant attire and celebrated in style!
The evening brought together students and faculty for a night of laughter, dancing, and well-deserved relaxation.
Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception before sitting down to a delicious three-course meal. The night continued with the much anticipated Pharmacy Ball awards!
The award winners were:
- EDI Athena Swan award: Rachel Wilshire (presented by Head of the School of Pharmacy, Prof Brendan Griffin)
- Faculty Member of the Year: Dr JJ Keating
- Champagne Award (Sparkling Personality): Jack Mullen
- Most likely to win a Nobel Prize: Olga Adriyashchenko
- Iconic Platonic Duo: Laoise O'Neill and Eoin MacUileagoid
- Best Fashion Sense: Laura Jane Hickey
The Pharmacy Ball 2025 was not just a celebration of the year's hard work but also a reminder of the strong sense of community within the School of Pharmacy.
