HSE Programme Manager Lorna Quigley Delivers Educational Session on Sepsis to Pharmacy Students

The School of Pharmacy Was Delighted to Welcome Ms Lorna Quigley, Programme Manager, HSE National Clinical Infectious Disease Programme, to Speak to Our MPharm Students About Sepsis.

The session delivered on 16 October 2024 as part of module PF6422 discussed the epidemiology of sepsis, screening tools and sepsis management. It also highlighted the importance of early recognition of sepsis and patient awareness and the important role that pharmacists can play in the recognition, management and prevention of sepsis.
