Empowering Leadership: Kathleen Williamson's Aurora Programme Success
The School of Pharmacy is thrilled to announce that Kathleen Williamson, our esteemed Senior Executive Assistant with over 20 years of service to UCC, has successfully completed the Aurora leadership development programme.
Aurora, launched by Advance-HE (UK) in 2013, is a leadership development initiative exclusively for women. It was created following research indicating a decline in women holding influential and senior roles in higher education compared to a decade earlier.
Kathleen participated in a series of workshops, reflection sessions, and mentorship meetings, demonstrating her commitment to leadership growth. Her accomplishment marks a significant milestone in her career and highlights the importance of promoting gender equality in administrative leadership within University College Cork.
