Appointment of Marie Keane as new Adjunct Clinical Lecturer to the School of Pharmacy, UCC
Congratulations to Marie Keane, who has recently been appointed as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer to the School of Pharmacy, UCC.
Marie is a Senior Critical Care Pharmacist with University Hospital Limerick (UHL), HSE providing specialised pharmaceutical care to Level 3 critically ill patients. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with B.Sc. Pharm (Hons) qualification in 1992. Since then she has worked exclusively as a Hospital Pharmacist in both Ireland and England representing almost 30years experience. She has a particular interest in the intravenous administration of medicines and has been pivotal in producing and updating intravenous guidelines for the administration of medicines to adult and critical care patients within the UHL Group. Marie has supported the School of Pharmacy UCC in developing and delivering the Critical Care and Pain/Surgery Module as part of the online MSc in Clinical Pharmacy since 2015.
