Olympians honoured at UCC

Pictured L-R: Sean Coleman, student of UCC's Certificate in Contemporary Living (CCL) who won a silver medal in the 25m backstroke swimming event at the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015. Sean has just completed his first year on this course; Aoife O’Sullivan, Rhythmic Gymnastics from Ballinlough who won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals. She is a UCC graduate of the CCL; Colm Monaghan – Men’s Soccer – 5th place in tournament and also a UCC graduate of the CCL. University College Cork had the pleasure of honouring three Olympic athletes recently on their return from the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015.
