Creative geniuses to talk art, fashion and design
On the eve of the 2015 UCC Honorary Conferrings, fashion designer Don O’Neill, furniture designer Joseph Walsh and cultural historian Nicholas Fox Weber will take part in a creative conversation at the Glucksman.
Those keen to tap into the minds of the three creative geniuses from the worlds of art, fashion and design won’t want to miss the free event, ‘Creativity in Design: Meet the makers’ on Thursday, 4 June at 6pm, in association with the Year of Irish Design 2015. Booking is requested through rsvp@glucksman.org due to high demand.
The event in the Lewis Glucksman Gallery comes ahead of UCC’s Honorary Conferrings the following day on Friday, June 5. The recent announcement was met with much delight across social media. Click here for the full story.
The honorary conferrings recognise individuals who have distinguished themselves nationally or internationally, through their scholarship, creativity, public service or contribution to social, cultural, sporting or economic life.
