Six new academic staff join Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
Six colleagues joined the Discipline during 2025, bringing clinical and research experience across diagnostic radiography, radiation therapy and medical physics.
The past year has seen the team grow in number: with Dr Laura McLaughlin and Dr Clare Rainey joining in January 2025. This was followed by Kathryn O'Sullivan, John O'Neill, Peter Murphy and Prof Sara Hackett later in the year. Each brings unique skills and experience in diagnostic and therapeutic radiography.

Our placement coordinator for diagnostic radiography, Rena Young, moved to pastures new this year and we wish her every success in her new position.
