Last year the Irish Government launched a 'Trading Online' voucher scheme, and as of today it has been made available to small businesses in Cork.

The scheme allows small businesses under 10 people and €2m turnover p.a. to access up to €2.5k in 'matched funds' (meaning whatever the business pays up €2.5k the government will match).

There are some restrictions - for example only 'small' businesses of under 10 employees and under €2m p.a. revenue can apply. However the funds can be spent on a wide variety of things including building a new website, marketing etc... You can even spend 30% of the funds on internet advertising.

There's a bit more info available from the link below:http://www.dcenr.gov.ie/Communications/Knowledge+Society/NDS+Trading+Online+Voucher+Scheme.htm

The Local Enterprise Offices are offering two info sessions, on the 17th June:https://www.localenterprise.ie/CorkCity/Training-Events/Online-Bookings/Online-Training-Voucher-Information-Seminar.html or 3rd July:https://www.localenterprise.ie/CorkCity/Training-Events/Online-Bookings/On-Line-Voucher-Information-Seminar.html

The Trading Online Voucher Scheme will be rolled out nationally in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) network. The scheme targets small Irish businesses with less than:- 10 employees & €2m annual turnover.
