GatewayUCC provides entrepreneurs and knowledge-based start-up companies with a comprehensive business support programme comprising of Mentoring, Access to Financial Advice, Seminars, one-to-one Consultancy, Workshops, introduction to Venture Capital Opportunities and Business Angels Programmes. Companies work in a uniquely supportive environment with access to UCC’s network of researchers and excellent support through linkages into academic departments.
GatewayUCC encompasses c. 1,400 sq m in total: 25 incubation units ranging in size from 15 sq m to 67 sq m and includes 400 sq m of ‘wet-lab’ space available to accommodate bio-technology companies. The Centre also contains 10 Hot Desk spaces for people who are at the pre-start-up stage providing a stimulating environment to nurture and explore the feasibility of their business opportunity.
