The partnership will strengthen SRL Research’s position in both Irish and international markets, and enable the company to drive efficiencies in costs and human resources.

Minister for Research and Innovation Sean Sherlock TD officially opened the new SRL Research offices at GatewayUCC.

"We are revolutionising the food industry in Ireland to meet the societal challenges of the future," he said.
 


"It is vital that we continue on the path of ensuring the changes are positive and sustainable for all those within the food industry. Supporting companies like SRL Research is key to ensuring we remain at the forefront of new and exciting opportunities."
 


Founded in 2002 by Margaret Shine, SRL Research has grown from a Genesis start-up at the Rubicon Centre, Cork to an internationally traded services company with a portfolio of global leaders in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.  

Prior to the merger, SRL Research employed 27 people, and this increases to 35 following the announcement.
