The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO)
EPSO organises 'open competitions' (tests and assessments) to select personnel for permanent and non-permanent positions in the European Union. The EPSO website offers advice about the selection process and preparation for these competitions. Competitions are held annually for administrators, linguists, interpreters, translators, secretaries and other staff categories.
EPSO recruits staff for EU INSTITUTIONS:
- EUROPEAN COMMISSION (Brussels, Luxembourg & offices worldwide):
- The Commission is the largest employer among the EU institutions.
- EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT (Brussels, Luxembourg & Strasbourg):
- COUNCIL OF THE EU (Brussels):
- EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE (Luxembourg):
- Court of Auditors (Luxembourg):
- European Economic and Social Committee (Brussels):
- Committee of the Regions (Brussels):
- European Ombudsman (Strasbourg):
- European Data Protection Supervisor (Brussels):
Selection procedures and types of contract are usually the same for all of the above.
