If you were unable to attend your conferring ceremony last month, you have been conferred In Absentia.

All parchments have now been posted out from the univeristy to your college-registered home address, so you should receive it shortly.

Eligibility for conferring: If your query relates to exams, results, submission of works or if you are unsure if you are due to be conferred please check with the Student Records and Exams Office by emailing


Contact details: If you are eligible to be conferred, it is very important that we have the correct postal information for your conferring correspondence. This is the address to which all correspondence will be sent.  Please ensure that your permanent home address is accurate six weeks in advance of your conferring date.

  • log in to
  • go to your online registration
  • choose from the drop-down menu
  • check and update your permanent home address.

Correspondence in relation to your conferring will also be sent to your umail address (


Fees Clearance: Students are not permitted to graduate until all fees due to UCC have been paid in full, as stated in item 14 of the UCC Fee Debtor Policy.  Fees balance can be checked on or by emailing
