Participants recently gathered at the MSc Hearing Balance Communication microcreds and CPD course, “Hearing, Balance and Communication: Impact on Quality of Life in Older Adults,” a programme designed to explore the impact of hearing, balance and communication challenges on the lives of older adults.

The module provided a valuable opportunity for interdisciplinary learning, bringing together expertise from the fields of Audiology and Physiotherapy. Participants benefited from lectures delivered by Professor Amr El Refaie, Head of Discipline of Audiology; Trish O'Sullivan, Lecturer in the Discipline of Physiotherapy; and Claire Murphy, Clinical Specialist Vestibular Physiotherapist, Physiotherapy Practice Education Tutor and Adjunct Lecturer at University College Dublin School of Public Health, Physiotherapy & Sports Science.
