British Academy of Audiology Renews Endorsement of MSc Audiology Programme Until 2031
The renewed endorsement reflects the programme’s high academic and clinical standards, its alignment with professional requirements, and the School’s ongoing commitment to excellence in audiology education and training. The rigorous re‑accreditation process involved detailed curriculum review, evaluation of clinical training provision, and engagement with staff, students, and external partners.
Amr El Refaie, Head of the Discipline of Audiology, welcomed the outcome and praised the collective effort behind the re‑accreditation success. He also extended his thanks to colleagues who played a key role in the process.
“I would particularly like to thank Tessa Dorosh, Senior Executive Assistant in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and Ellie Sweeney, Practice Tutor in the Discipline of Audiology, for their exceptional hard work and dedication throughout the re‑accreditation process. Congratulations to them both on this well‑deserved success.”
The renewed BAA endorsement provides assurance to current and prospective students, clinical partners, and stakeholders that the programme continues to meet nationally recognised professional standards and prepares graduates for successful careers in audiology.
