Funding for the Environmental Humanities Network - The Eco-Humanities Research Group:
Dr Crystal Addey, together with Professor Caitríona Ní Dhúill (Department of German) and with other colleagues from across the Humanities disciplines in CACSSS (including Government and Polities, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Archaeology, English and Digital Humanities), have been awarded funding in June 2021 from the CACSSS Interdisciplinary Research Funding Scheme to develop our Environmental Humanities network further in 2021 - 22. The new name of our network is the 'Eco-Humanities Research Group' which is embedded within the UCC Environmental Research Institute (ERI) and aims to bring the perspectives of the humanities to bear on the multiple interlocking ecological and existential crises of our time.
