A Teaching career in Classics: teaching Classical Studies at Secondary level on Wednesday 14th February at 7.00pm

This talk by John Burke and Ciara Ni Bhroinn aims to offer students a window into a career wherein a Classics degree can be used directly, as well as highlight to undergraduates the continuing value and vitality of the Classics in classrooms of teenagers.

John Burke (BA in Philosophy and Greek and Roman Civilisation, MLitt in Classics, Postgrad Diploma in Education) has been teaching Classical Studies in St. Joseph's College, Lucan in Dublin for the past ten years.

Ciara Ni Bhroinn (BA in Classical Civilisation and Irieh, Postgrad Eiploma in Education) is a teacher of Classical Studies at Kishoge Community School in Adamstown, Dublin.
