Cancer Research @UCC is a translational cancer research centre within the College of Medicine & Health, University College Cork. Our goal is to improve cancer outcomes and save lives through integration of innovative preclinical and clinical cancer research, alongside provision of high-quality training opportunities in research.

'A Night on the Plaza' fundraiser in aid of Cancer Research @UCC will take place on Friday 21st July

Tickets are now on sale for the much-anticipated Night on the Plaza concert, taking place on Friday 21 July 2023. UCC General Services, working with UCC Alumni and Development, present ‘A Night on the Plaza’, an open-air concert on UCC’s campus, celebrating the music and legacy of The Eagles with Dezperado, in aid of Cancer Research at UCC.  Hosted by Elmarie Mawe (96fm), the concert will also feature rising stars Korey Power and Dylan Brickley.

Applications now open for 2024 Breakthrough Clinical Cancer Research Fellowship programme.

Medical graduates training in any cancer discipline in Ireland are now invited to apply for the Breakthrough Clinical Cancer Research Fellowship Programme 2024 in association with Cancer Research @UCC and the UCC Cancer Trials Group.

Art4Knowledge Exhibition Opens at the Jennings Gallery on 28th June

We're excited to announce the opening of our #Art4Knowledge exhibition at the College of Medicine and Health's Jennings Gallery in UCC on 28th June. This exhibition will feature artworks produced by participants in our Art4Knowledge art therapy workshop series in collaboration with MTU Crawford College of Art and Design.
