Cancer Research @UCC proud to support MRT Student Research Conference
As part of our commitment to Student Success and Training, we were delighted to contribute to the MRT Student Research Conference through our Inaugural Prizes for Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation.
The UCC Medical Research and Technology Society recently hosted their 6th annual MRT Student Research Conference in the Dora Allman Room of UCC, showcasing outstanding work being done by UCC’s emerging researchers. The society was established in 2019 with the primary objective of fostering a community of students enthusiastic about engaging in the myriad research and technological prospects within the medical domain.
As part of our commitment to Student Success and Training, Cancer Research @UCC was proud to contribute to the event through our Inaugural Prizes for Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation.

The award for Best Oral Presentation was made to Aoife Corcoran for her presentation title: "Short and Long-term Outcome Following Intraventricular Haemorrhage Among Preterm Infants in CUMH".

Samiha Sajida and Jordan Gertenstein were awarded Best Poster Presentation for a poster titled "Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland: A Comparative Case Series Demonstrating Longitudinal Impact of Systemic and Therapeutic Advances".
Professor Seamus O Reilly made the presentations on behalf of Cancer Research @UCC.
