Bauhaus Goes North, Interreg NPA funded project holds Partner meeting in CCAE
Cork Centre for Architectural Education hosted the second Partner Meeting for Interreg NPA funded project, Bauhaus Goes North with colleagues from University College Cork, OULU University of Applied Science, UIT The Arctic University of Norway, City of Bodø, Umeå University, Green Building Council Iceland, and Cork County Council.
The meeting took place after a two-day event held at CCAE in collaboration with the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) Programme, recently hosted two notable EU Interreg events at UCC.
These events celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Interreg NPA Programme and featured an NPA Lead Partners Seminar along with a communications meeting for the Joint Interreg NPA/Interreg AURORA Clustering Call.
The events were organised by Dr. Jason O'Shaughnessy, Interim Director of CCAE and Lead Partner in the Bauhaus Goes North Interreg NPA project, along with colleagues. Participants from across Europe and Ireland attended.
Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic is an EU funding programme supporting cooperation between remote and sparsely populated communities in the northernmost part of Europe on matters of shared interest. The initiative turns ideas into sustainable solutions to improve the quality of life of people living in the region.
