Springboard at UCC

ACE is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Springboard 2016 Programme
Springboard at UCC:
The Winning Formula to Kick-Start your Career
Adult Continuing Education (ACE) at University College Cork is delighted to once again participate in the Government’s Springboard initiative for 2016, which provides free part-time courses for jobseekers with the primary aim of getting jobseekers back to work.
UCC has 3 different programmes in a variety of disciplines. The objective of all UCC’s Springboard programmes is to provide training and learning opportunities for jobseekers to up-skill or re-skill in areas where skill deficits currently exist, so that jobseekers may achieve sustainable employment. Available courses at UCC include:
• Higher Diploma in Business, Language and Culture in East Asia
• MA in Digital Arts & Humanities
• Higher Diploma in Advanced Languages and Global Communications
The application deadline is 24th August 2016 and job-seekers are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. All of UCC’s Springboard programmes address sectors with real demand for key skills and combine both academic expertise with industry focus. Courses are rated highly by employers and participants alike, and students are offered personalised support with dedicated coordinators and career advisors.
