Cillian Brewitt wins SEFS 2014 Summer Research Bursary with URG

Cillian Brewitt has won a College of SEFS 2014 Undergraduate Summer Research Bursary with the URG.

Cillian is a top 2nd year undergraduate student studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and he will be working in the Ultrasonics Research Group in UCC for 8 weeks over the summer. The Summer Bursaries are extremely prestigious, with only 10 awarded on a competitive basis in the entire College of SEFS in UCC. Cillian's research will investigate the simulation and testing of micromachined ultrasonic sensors, and the project is a collaboration with the Microsystems Centre in the Tyndall National Institute.
