Undergraduate Information
This information is intended as a guideline for Non-EU applicants to UCC’s undergraduate programmes. The information provides guidance on country specific minimum academic entry requirements. These are the minimum entry requirements and many programmes may have higher requirements due to a high demand for places. In addition, programmes may have specific subject/interview/portfolio requirements. Please note that satisfying the grade requirement is only one aspect of the application process and does not guarantee admission. In addition to meeting the academic entry requirements, you are also required to present proof of your English language competency, if applicable. Undergraduate Entry Requirements

High School Diploma PLUS SAT 1/ACT Consideration is given to the High School Grade Point Average (GPA) and SAT or ACT scores. Applicants are expected to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math, (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended). Though not required for all programmes, SAT Subject Tests, Honours, Advanced Placement, and Early College Experience courses are considered, where they benefit the applicant. Applicants who are not in a position to submit SAT 1/ACT for 2024 entry can contact the International Office for advice: international.applications@ucc.ie General Education Development (GED) qualifications are assessed on case by case basis. |

| Additional Requirements |
Where Maths is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum score of 640 in SAT or ACT 28 in Maths component or AP 3 is required. Where a Lab Science subject is required for a specific degree programme, a minimum AP score of 3 is required in a Lab Science subject. |
