Join us for this exciting one-day event that will bring together PhD researchers, supervisors, and members of the public to explore how Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) is shaping doctoral research.
This event is taking place as part of the National PPI Festival 2026 and will bring together PhD researchers, supervisors, and members of the public to explore how Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) is shaping doctoral research.
Programme highlights include:
🔹 Keynote Talk: “PPI Research into Spinal Cord Injury Repair: A PPI Collaborators Perspective"- Mr Ciaran McCarthy, PPI Contributor and PPI Co-lead PPI Ignite Network@ RCSI.
🔹 Short talks from a variety of PhD researchers and PPI contributors about the practical aspects of conducting PPI in Doctoral Research.
🔹 "Don't make me Google it!"- How to Write a PPI Lay Summary for your Research- An Interactive, Practical and PPI Informed Workshop.
The event will be a fantastic opportunity to share experiences, exchange ideas, and build new connections across the PPI community.
