How does Covid-19 affect the UCC Peer Support & UCC Niteline services?

Unfortunately UCC Peer Support Leaders cannot not meet their linked students in person during the current closure.

However, Peer Support Leaders remain contactable to all of their linked students via email. They are available to you to listen to your concerns in this difficult time, provide you with relevant available information and link you in to other services as needed.

The freephone aspect of UCC Niteline is currently closed. However, our instant messaging service is open and operating as normal. The service is open Sunday - Thursday, 9pm-1am and is available HERE

To recieve the most up to date information regarding UCC and the current situation please visit the dedicated UCC Covid-19 webpage HERE

Welcome to the UCC community

UCC Peer Support is a programme the university has put in place to ensure the transition into life in UCC for first years and international students is supported by the knowledge of those that know it best - the students themselves. Every first year and undergraduate international student is automatically assigned a Peer Support Leader, a fellow student who has been through this journey themselves and is trained to help guide you should you need it.
