Video: Your city, your club
As the new SSE Airtricity League season kicks off, UCC wishes Cork City FC the best of luck. A new promo video led by UCC Film Studies graduate Shane Twomey is all heart.
Filmed by Zenith Media Productions to the tune of the appropriately named "City Lights" (courtesy of The Frank and Walters), and featuring broadcaster John Creedon, colourful shots of the city of Cork, local legends and moments of past glory, the video points to only one thing.
The Rebel Army is on the offensive and it will not be denied.
UCC and the Mardyke Arena UCC announced a four-year partnership with Cork City FC in December 2012, recognising the educational value of sport.
Since then the partnership has gone from strength to strength, a recent example being the launch of the Cork City FC Patronage Scheme by Roy Keane at UCC.
