Cork Digital Marketing Award for UCC

UCC has won at the Cork Digital Marketing Awards 2015 thanks to its Twitter presence @UCC.

Over 150 people from the worlds of business, entrepreneurship, education, marketing, news media, sport, entertainment and the charity sector across Cork and Munster were in attendance at the event, held in Fota Island Resort by Cork Chamber.

UCC won the 'Best use of Twitter for Business' category. A previous finalist, UCC also made the 2015 finals for ‘Best Website (Company with 20 employees or more)’. The award and nomination recognises the work of UCC's Office of Marketing & Communications, IT Services, the Digital Estate Working Group (DEWG) and social media and web moderators across UCC. 

Congratulations are also in order for Tyndall National Institute, who won 'Best Zero Budget Digital Marketing Campaign’ at the ceremony and also GeorgeBoole.com, which made the finals at the EirSpider Awards in the eLearning and Design category.
