UCC camogie takes centre stage in Sunday's All-Ireland final
Cork will meet Galway in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Final this Sunday, and University College Cork will be well represented in Croke Park on the day.
No fewer than 13 players have a connection to UCC, many of them graduates, some students, and others are incoming students, but all have worn or will wear the famous skull and crossbones, and the majority have played Ashbourne Cup camogie.
UCC's historic Quad will be lit in red and white to show our support this weekend.
UCC graduates who played in the semi-final win over Kilkenny include Ellen Murphy (Sarsfields), Libby Coppinger (St Colum’s), Meabh Cahalane (St Finbarr's), Hannah Looney (Killeagh), Katrina and Pamela Mackey (Douglas), Chloe Sigerson (Killeagh), Orla Cronin (Enniskeane) and Amy O'Connor (St Vincents).
Meanwhile students Laura Hayes (St Catherine’s), Fiona Keating (Coursey Rovers), Aisling Egan (St Finbarr's) and Emma Murphy (Glen Rovers) were also involved.
UCC will also be represented on the sideline. Coach Kevin Murray has worked with Billy Morgan on the three Sigerson Cup wins for UCC in 2011, 2014 and 2019.

We are also proud in particular to have a long standing association with Cork camogie, providing training facilities for many years before they acquired their own grounds and developing students players through the UCC camogie club.”
