Farhan Javed
Biography
Farhan Javed is currently a PhD student at MISL/SFI-CONNECT, School of Computer Science & IT, University College Cork, under the supervision of Dr. Aisling O’Driscoll, Prof. Cormac J. Sreenan and Dr. Andrew Hines.
Farhan Javed received the degree of Bachelors of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Comsats University Islamabad, Attock Campus, in 2017 and 2022 respectively. He also worked as a Research Analyst at Elegant Digital Signage from 2018 to 2023

His research interests are in the field of wireless networks & communication, wireless sensor networks, vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), signal processing, cloud computing, EDGE Computing, 5G autonomous network, tele-operated driving, machine learning, 6G network management, IoT, IoV, MIMO, energy-efficient & smart health care systems.
