“Globalisation on the Periphery: Perspectives from Latin-American Scholars”

This presentation will look at a few discussions on globalisation by Latin-American scholars.  Most of the literature on the subject in English is by metropolitan scholars, and rarely refers to work on the subject published in other languages, or in other continents.  The presentation will try to establish the specificities, if any, of a Latin-American perspective.
