Postgraduate Research
The School of Law in UCC has a long history of excellence in postgraduate research, with a dynamic international community of researchers, which is an integral and valued part of the School's academic community. Some statistics on our postgraduate research are:
- Projected completion rate of 95% for full-time PhD students who commenced 2008-2014
- €1.5 million in external scholarship funding between 2008-2014
- Success rate in Irish Research Council postgraduate scholarships of 42% (national average is 22%)

This Report presents the results of an empirical study conducted by staff at the Faculty of Law, University College Cork (UCC) in relation to consumers’ self-perception and their actualknowledge of the law.[1]
