Faculty Development Update

Providing Feedback to students is an extremely important aspect of medical student education.
The Medical Education Unit in collaboration with the Dept. of General Practice ran a Faculty Development Workshop on April 27th covering the topics of Assessing Students in the Clinical Setting and Providing Feedback. Drs Siun O’Flynn, Tony Foley, Elaine Walsh and Mark James facilitated the workshop. There were 28 attendees from both General Practice and hospital backgrounds. The workshop was over subscribed and due to the huge demand for places, this workshop will be repeated in the Autumn.
