Utopian Hours: The International Festival of City-Making

On Sunday October 19th, Prof Des Fitzgerald, Radical Humanities Lab, gave a keynote presentation to Utopian Hours: The International Festival of City-Making in Turin

The festival features 350 local practitioners, more than 100 global urban policy-makers, and a range of international speakers. In his keynote address, Des presented his research on the historical and political difficulties of "green urbanism" and urged attendees to celebrate the liveliness and diversity of contemporary urban space, in an era when cities are increasingly under assault from resurgent fascism.
