The Conical Flask - Resources for Leaving Cert Science Students
PhD Research Student Ryan Gallagher has published a free online teaching support to Leaving Certificate science students. The website was originally intended to specifically support students from disadvantaged backgrounds whose parents may not be in a position to obtain extra supports. With the current circumstances it has proven to be a useful resource for all leaving cert students.
Ryan is a graduate of the BSc Science Education degree in UCC and is a fully qualified chemistry teacher registered with the Teaching Council. He is also the holder of an MEd degree and is very experienced in teaching Leaving Certificate sciences. A complete set of video lessons, notes, worksheets, worked solutions and online assessments covering the entire Leaving Certificate chemistry syllabus are now available online. Ryan continues to add more resources, which now inlcude tools for biology, physics, earth and space and ag science.
