A Crab Apple (Malus sylvestris) tree, native to Ireland, was planted in 2021 as part of the CATCH project: Communication and Action through Tree-planting for Climate-Health, and to acknowledge the benefits that trees can provide to the environment, health and society.​ The tree was planted near the entrance to the Environmental Research Institute.
