Lanuch of the Report on the Green Zone School Project: An ED TARA Primary School Evaluation

May 13th saw the launch of Report on The Green Zone School Study, which evaluated the integrated trauma‑informed practices (TIPs) in a DEIS Band 1 primary school in Dublin. Grounded in the TARA (Trauma, Attachment and Resilience into Action) practice model, the study explored how whole‑school based, trauma‑informed practices can support pupil wellbeing and learning while strengthening staff capacity in contexts of significant socio‑economic disadvantage.

The research was conducted by Dr Maria Lotty (Lecturer) and Eithne Nic Dhomhnaill (Primary School Teacher), School of Applied Social Studies, University College Cork, and was funded by SlainteCare and Dublin City Council.
