The Brief
To analyse the potential for setting up a Project Management Office (PMO) at Tyndall.
The Work
- To meet the Institute’s Project Managers and Principal Investigators in order to gather information and opinions
- To scope the requirements for a PMO within the Institute
- Using expertise from UCC Academy Project Centre, to clarify the potential benefits of
- a Tyndall PMO and highlight any possible negative effects
- To deliver a report outlining the requirements for a PMO, and recommend a specific model that would be suitable for Institute
The Result
The analysis and report allowed Tyndall to make a well-founded decision not to set up a PMO at that time.
