Sian James has worked for UCC Academy since 2019. During this time, she has project managed many complex in person and virtual events from concept through to completion.  Clients include Horizon 2020 EU Funded project Magnet4Europe, HSE National Women and Infants Health Programme, Teagasc, and various colleges within UCC.

Along with managing events, Sian was responsible for the integration of the EventsAir platform and in 2020 took a led role in introducing new virtual software OnAir.

Before joining UCC Academy, Sian as a graduate of Hospitality Management from University of Wales, Institute of Cardiff has spent much of her career working in Sales and Event Management. Sian has held roles in prominent properties over Ireland and UK including the Burlington Hotel and as Event Manager at Castlemartyr Resort.
