Katie Melia is a recent graduate from UCC having obtained her Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management. Having worked her way up to management during her ten years in high street retail, Katie realised her keen interest in the HR function and went on to achieve her Level 6 in HR Management from Cork College of Commerce in order to grow her management skills. This course formed the basis of her knowledge which she chose to enhance even further in order to change career paths from retail to HR. Upon completion of her Higher Diploma in UCC, Katie was offered a place in the UCC Academy Graduate Programme as a People and Culture Analyst in which she supports the team in the recruitment and development of the integral UCC Academy workforce.
