Jen Doran is a graduate of UCC, holding a PGDip in Interactive Media. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Jen received her Master of Business Administration from SMU and her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from UNT. ​

Prior to relocating to Cork in September 2021, she served as Marketing Project Manager at SMU in Dallas, Texas, successfully leading cross-functional projects for the fundraising and development departments within the university. Notably, she led the creation of branding and messaging for SMU Ignited, a multiyear $1.5 billion fundraising campaign for impact.​

In previous roles, Jen was an Account Manager at a public relations firm in Dallas, working with Walt Disney Studios on regional promotional and publicity campaigns, and as a Digital Marketing Coordinator for a local magazine, leveraging digital and email campaigns to drive both awareness and sales.​

Joining UCC Academy in February 2023 as a Communications Project Officer within Creative Services, Jen brings a diverse skill set encompassing content creation, relationship management, and digital strategy. She is currently working with IGNITE, managing a diverse set of tasks and engagement within the incubation programme for founders working full-time on their start-ups.
