Note: Besides Brigadier-General Cumming, Lieutenant de Maligny was killed at Cloonbannin. De Maligny was buried with full military honours in Queen’s Road Cemetery in the London suburb of Croydon on 9 March 1921. His wife Edith Helena de Maligny was later awarded £8,000 in compensation for his death. See CE, 29 April 1921.
