Erasmus+ Programmes

The Language Centre of University College Cork offers a range of staff mobility courses. Participants can choose from these English language courses and also from the teacher development courses.

Our Centre is based in the heart of our beautiful and historic campus and it is only a ten-minute walk from the vibrant Cork city centre. While here with us participants can use all the facilities of our world-class university.

Our Erasmus+ staff mobility programmes are a wonderful opportunity for personal and professional growth. Whether you choose a programme to improve your English language skills or one to develop your teaching techniques, you will meet like-minded people who are also embarking on an Erasmus+ adventure which will empower you and provide you with a rich cultural experience in Cork and Ireland.

What our participants say

“We have learned, we have chatted, we have shared, we have laughed, we have enjoyed, we have experienced flavours and colours, we have tested ourselves and we have, together, grown a little more as people and as professionals. For all this and much more, I am very grateful for the opportunity to enjoy these types of experiences. To anyone who has ever thought about it, I can only encourage you.”

It was better than I expected. The classes were engaging, fun and I got quite a few good ideas about what to pay special attention to when reading and writing texts.

I have appreciated all the oral communication. It was very enriching, as everyone exchanged ideas and it allowed me to learn new words and expressions and I am more confident in English now .
