Homestay accommodation

We offer carefully selected friendly local host accommodation.  Staying with a host family is an ideal way to practise your English in real-life situations.  It includes Bed & Breakfast and an evening meal.  Transfers to and from Cork Airport or Cork City Centre on date of arrival/departure may also be possible but is not guaranteed by all families.  Students should be prepared to pay some taxi costs.

  • €270 per week + €50 per extra night

We assume Sunday arrival and Saturday departure for all accommodation booked.

Please note, for students studying with us longterm and staying with a host family, if they are resuming their course after Christmas/New Year holidays, a fee of one full additional week will be charged for hosting over the holiday period.
At times of high demand for host family accommodation we may need to offer you a bed in a twin room (two single beds) for part or all of your stay.  You will only be offered this option if there is a shortage of single room accommodation matching part or all of your dates (from-to).  We will only match you with another person that you are travelling with who will also be undertaking a course of study with us, or with another student if you are travelling as part of an incoming group of students. If this option is being arranged for you, for part or all of your stay, you will be notified of this arrangement in advance of your arrival by our Host Family Coordinator.  You may of course also request twin room accommodation, if you would prefer to share with another person known to you who will also be studying with us for the same dates, this option will however be subject to availability.
