All of our teaching staff are highly qualified English as a Foreign Language teachers and the Centre has, for the past 19 years, been very successful in preparing students for the IELTS exam.
The Centre keeps up to date with developments with the IELTS exam and our focus is to get you, the test-taker, to reach your potential when it comes to improving your English language skills in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, while also developing the skills and techniques you require to help you achieve the results you need in IELTS.
Many of our teaching staff have attended IELTS Teacher Training Workshops run by British Council, one of the Partners involved in the IELTS exam, while we also have a number of qualified IELTS Examiners on staff.
Arrangements are in place at this Centre for our students to have access to real practice exams which are returned to the UK and corrected by IELTS staff to IELTS standards.

Students can join one of our year-round full-time programmes any Monday, space permitting. Part-time IELTS Preparation courses are designed to be taken in full but late applications may be accepted. Early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.

There are two modules to choose from - Academic and General Training.
- IELTS Academic is for test makers wishing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for those seeking professional registration.
- IELTS General Training is for test takers wishing to migrate to an English-speaking country (example, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK), and for those wishing to train or study at below degree level.
You are tested on all four language skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking, unless you have an exemption due to a disability (see section on special requirements).
Everyone takes the same Listening and Speaking tests. There are different Reading and Writing tests for IELTS Academic and General Training.
