AI+Assessment Hackathon
AI+Assessment Hackathon
Worried about what AI means for your assessments? Interested in thinking of ways to design (or redesign) assessments to be less susceptible to AI use? Come join us for an AI and Assessment Hackathon!!
DATE: Tues, 9 January 2023
TIME: 10.00-13.00
WHERE: Nano Nagle Place
Click here to register for the AI+Assessment Hackathon.
If you’re not familiar with hackathons, we’ll start with a big idea - in this case “Future Proofing Assessment” - and then work in groups to explore ideas around AI and assessment and come up with things (both big and small!) that we can use in our own teaching practice – whether immediately or in the future.
This session is open to all staff who are involved in assessing student work with a maximum of 50 attendees.
Why January?
By running the Hackathon in early January, we hope that participants will be able to take ideas from the session and either change their module assessment while CIM is still open (leaving time for both design/development and internal/departmental approvals, etc.) or use some of the smaller, more immediate suggestions in the coming semester.
We realise early January isn't an ideal time for everyone, so please click here to let us know if you'd be interested in a future session!
