Student Placement Policy
Student Placement Policy
At UCC, a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses have a student placement element which involves the placement of a UCC registered student with a third party for a period of time during their course of study which forms part of the accreditation award to the Student. Student placements give students the opportunity to gain practical work and/or an independent learning experience relevant to their course as part of a work/project based placement or educational placement.
The following Policy and Procedures set out the University's minimum standards for the organisation and management of these Student Placements. Please note the Student Placement Policy and Procedures are being gradually implemented in the University and will be fully applicable in September 2019.
