UNIC UCC Team Contributes to UNIC Strategic Retreat, Rotterdam

The UNIC team from University College Cork (UCC) contributed to a UNIC Strategy Retreat at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), 16-17 March 2026. The retreat was hosted by the UNIC co-ordinating unit at EUR, chaired by Alliance Co-ordinator Prof. Semiha Denktas.

UNIC UCC Director Dr Jean van Sinderen-Law and UNIC Programme Manager Aoife Dowling took part in strategic and evaluation meetings during the two days, while Professor in Theatre (and co-lead of the UNICArt project) Prof. Yvon Bonenfant delivered a bespoke artistic methodologies session for the group.

Tangible outputs of the retreat included renewed plans to improve and enhance UNIC delivery for the remainder of the current phase, engaging all partner university teams. The artistic methodologies session started the process to shape a vision for the future of the UNIC alliance.
