Would you like to contribute to UCC's involvement in an alliance of universities across Europe? The UNIC UCC office is seeking two students as UCC UNIC student representatives (paid roles) for the period June 2026 to end of May 2027.

UNIC is a European universities alliance connecting UCC with nine other universities across Europe. UNIC unlocks new international opportunities by connecting students, staff and city stakeholders with our partners for transformative learning, research, innovation and societal impact. 

UNIC student representatives will represent UCC on the UNIC Student Board as well as take a leadership role in promoting UNIC to UCC students. They can expect to work around 3 hours per week in the summer period (June to end of August 2026) and around around 6 hours per week from September 2026 to end of May 2027. There will be some flexibility in the summer period.

At least one of the student representatives will be a student who has been elected by their fellow students as a class representative, club / society committee member or other.

The closing date for applications is April 16th 2026. Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be held on campus on the week continuing May 11th 2026.
