UNIC sponsors SDSN Event 'Climate, Migration, Refugees and the SDGs'

Join us for a 90-minute discussion on the links between climate change, migration, forced displacement, human rights, security, and sustainable development - hosted by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and held at UCC on September 14 at 14.00 Irish time and available via livestream across the UNIC network. 

Featuring opening remarks by Minister of State Neale Richmond and a keynote address by Ambassador David Donoghue and an expert panel of practitioners and scholars, the event will explore how climate instability is reshaping migration patterns and what a rights-based, inclusive, and SDG-aligned global response should look like.

Organised by SDSN Ireland in partnership with the UNIC European University Alliance and UCC Futures: Collective Social Futures, this Associated EU Presidency Event will consider the role of the SDGs in building resilient and sustainable futures and reflect on priorities for a Post-2030 Agenda.
