UNIC Mathematics Summer School 2026

This year's UNIC Mathematics Summer School 2026 was held from June 22-28 at University of Łódź in Poland with strong participation from UCC.

The Summer School combined physical mobility with virtual learning, and was a collaborative effort of the participating UNIC institutions University College Cork, University of Łódź, Koc University, University of Oulu, and University of Zagreb. UCC was represented by 12 students and lecturer Ben McKay.

The Summer School ran for the third consecutive year and was open to undergraduate students and 1st year graduate students. It focussed on Finite quantum groups, Lie groups, Spectral graph theory and C*algebras.
